  Dr. Rose, a 1988 graduate of Oklahoma State University, has been in private practice for over 15 years. He founded Rose Animal Clinic in 1989.

• Kristen Westhoff , DVM

  
  

  Dr. Westhoff graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia, in 2000.  Her main veterinary interests are soft tissue and basic orthopedic surgery.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, gardening, and medieval re-enactment.

• Paula Brown , DVM

  
  

  Dr. Paula Brown is originally from the Alma area.  She received her DVM from LSU in 2001 and practiced small animal medicine in North Carolina prior to returning to Arkansas.  She has special interest in feline medicine and radiology.  Dr. Brown has four furry feline children – Jackson, Buster, Dee and Cleveland; all rescues and two of which are rear limb amputees.  When not at the clinic or occupied with her kitties, she enjoys reading and scrapbooking.

• Vava Hooper , DVM

  
  

  Vava Hooper is originally from Louisiana, but her time at the University of AR convinced her that NWA was the place for her. After receiving her DVM from LSU SVM, she returned to practice in Bentonville. She lives in Centerton with her husband Clay and their furry and feathered children – Bootsie, Sassafrass, Merlin, Reggie, Sprout, Thumbalina, Kissa, Paris, Vincent, and Albie--- as well as several fish and various frogs and turtles. She has a strong interest in exotic medicine, as well as internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. In her spare time she is an avid gardener and quilter.

  Jennifer has been with the practice for over 5 years.  She lives in Centerton with her husband and two kids.  In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, church, and farming.

  Kassie started her employment with Rose Animal Clinic in May of 2002.  In her spare time she enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with her husband, nephews, and son, Harvey.

  C.C. came to Rose Animal Clinic after being surrendered from her previous owner.  She enjoys laying in the sun, sleeping, and eating.

  Tashia has over 3 years of experience in the veterinary field.  She is originally from Northwest Arkansas, and a graduate of cosmetology school.  Tashia enjoys spending time with her son, Hayden, in her spare time.

• Cortney , Sr. Receptionist

  
  

  Born and raised in Northwest Arkansas. Her employment with Rose Animal Clinic began in the summer of 2002. She graduated from high school in 2005 and relocated to Phoenix, AZ in 2006. In December 2007, she moved back to Northwest Arkansas and resumed her position with us. She has a menagerie of animals; 6 dogs, 3 cats, and 2 ferrets. In the spring of '09 she will be adding to her broad with a baby girl. In her spare time, she enjoys family time with her husband Chris and daughter Ryleigh, puzzles, and scrap booking.

  Born in Houston, Tx and moved to Northwest Arkansas 12 years ago.  She started as a kennel worker in 2000.  In August 2008 she returned as a receptionist. Sammie has a 15 month old son, Landon.  In her free time she enjoys spending time with her son and doing puzzles.

  Born in Oklahoma, and raised in Arkansas, April started her career in veterinary medicine in 2006.  She has 2 dogs and 1 cat.  Shiba Inu is her favorite breed, and would like to start a rescue.  She is engaged and will be married in the summer of '09.

  Previous to working at Rose Animal Clinic, Amanda lived in Italy, working as an animal care taker. Once returning to the US she recieved her certification as a Veterinary Assistant. Amanda is currently seeking her certification as a technician.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and her two boys, Dakota and Brayden.

  Pat was born in Enid, Oklahoma.  She was a vet assistant at Wheatland Animal Clinic for 2 years before relocating to Arkansas.  During any free time, she enjoys reading, knitting, setting up craft shows with her sister, and working with all kinds of animals.

  Gail Pena has been a resident of Bentonville for over 12 years, 11 of which she has been employeed at Rose Animal Clinic.  She is in charge of making sure all of the animals are well taken care of and comfortable during their stay.  She has 4 daughters, a grandson, and a granddaughter.  Her hobbies include cooking, reading, and refinishing furniture.
